Malayalam actor Asif Ali and the team behind the film Abhyanthara Kuttavali have come forward to address the ongoing controversy surrounding the movie. The backlash stemmed from certain segments of the audience who misinterpreted a few scenes, leading to social media criticism.
In a recent press release, the makers emphasized that Abhyanthara Kuttavali is a fictional narrative that does not intend to target or hurt the sentiments of any community. Actor Asif Ali stated, “We never aimed to disrespect anyone. The intention of our story is purely artistic and socially relevant.”
The controversy has stirred debate online, with both supporters and critics weighing in. However, the team reiterated their confidence in the message of the film. Director Anwar Rasheed added, “We are open to feedback, but the context of the film has been misinterpreted by many.”
The producers have also requested audiences to watch the movie before forming opinions, assuring that Abhyanthara Kuttavali promotes inclusivity and reflection rather than bias.
